Revit & BIM Consulting, Training & Modeling

Revit & BIM

Revit & BIM —
consulting, training, and modeling.

Most BIM problems aren’t modeling problems. They’re standards problems, handoff problems, and nobody-wrote-it-down problems. We start there — and the modeling gets easier on its own.

§ 01 — Background

Fifteen years in the trade.

Brian Scott came up through precast concrete — drafting, BIM coordination, pour scheduling — then spent eight years training production crews. That work now extends into the classroom at Old Dominion University, where he teaches BIM in the construction engineering program.

It shapes how we work. We’ve been on the receiving end of a bad model, and we teach like the people in the room have real jobs to get back to.

§ 02 — What we do

Three ways in, one standard.

i.

Revit training

Built around what your team ships, not a generic curriculum. We teach against your actual projects.

  • Templates & standards
  • Families & parameters
  • Sheets, views, schedules
  • Cloud collaboration
  • Custom ribbons
ii.

Standards & coordination

Standards only help if someone writes them down and someone else can follow them.

  • Model audit
  • Handoff mapping
  • Documentation
  • Retiring dead conventions
iii.

Modeling

Sometimes you don’t need to be taught — you need the model built.

  • Built to your standards
  • Documented on handback
  • Your team carries it forward
§ 03 — A position

“If your coordination pain is really a handoff problem, we’d rather fix that than sell you more training.”

§ 04 — AI in BIM

Most of it is a demo, not a workflow.

There’s a lot of noise here. We teach how AI is genuinely reshaping the discipline, which tools have earned a seat in a production stack, and — more usefully — which ones haven’t yet.

If it belongs in your stack, we wire it in. If it doesn’t, we’ll tell you that too.

§ 05 — Process

Four moves. No drama.

01

Listen

A 45-minute call. We learn how the work actually moves through your business.

02

Map

A written assessment: where friction lives, what to retire, what to add.

03

Install

We set things up and train your team in plain language.

04

Stay

Light-touch support while the habits set — usually 60 to 90 days.

§ 06 — Get in touch

Send a note. Brian reads it.

No form, no funnel. Tell us what you’re trying to do and where you’re stuck. Expect a reply within a day.
